Jon worked and trained in the Tax Department of BDO Stoy Hayward head office between 1986 and 1990. He then joined Haslers' tax department in 1990 and was made a Partner in 1997.

He is now responsible for the day-to-day running of the Tax Department to ensure client compliance issues are kept up to date as well as heading up Haslers' Tax Investigations unit and has dealt with many Inland Revenue Special Civil Investigation Office (formally Special Compliance Office) including those carried out under caution.

Jon lectures regularly on numerous tax related topics including self assessment regulations and tax planning as well as representing clients at Tax Litigation Hearings in different areas of taxation including associated companies and subcontractor issues.
