What is Launch Pad?
A competition for budding entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to a panel of experts to win the chance of publicity and mentoring and launch their idea. Pitches will be streamed online for the public to vote and the grand final will be judged by the panel of experts.

Where did Launch Pad come from?
Launch Pad was the brainchild of Robert Ellice and brought to life by Bryan Hunt. Both men are dedicated to supporting their local community and providing a commitment to the future development of the area.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for anyone over the age of 16 from the Harlow and District area who has a business idea that they believe could be the 'next big thing' in the market.

What are we looking for?
Innovation, strong business thinking and an idea that is going to be a major success and fill a gap in the market. This can be a new business, product or service, or even a 'not for profit' concept.

Who will be judging?
The panel of experts have been handpicked to represent local business leaders and experts from a cross-section of business and all bring their own invaluable skills to the process.

What will the winner get?
Dedicated mentoring, advice & guidance from each of the judges, to support them in successfully launching their business idea. Plus a free logo, stationery pack, website designed for you by Purely Marketing, & the Harlow Star will run a full page feature on the winner & their business idea.

This support and publicity is worth in excess of £15,000, a sum out of reach of normal small business start ups.
